Old Newspaper Font

Although I'm respecting the results of the new banner font poll... I can't say that I'm terribly pleased with the results. The Old Newspaper font just doesn't enlarge well. I have done no editing to the font, I just used 50 pt Old Newspaper for the current banner. Thoughts? Should I just choose anew from Jane Austen and American Typewriter?

EDIT: Okay, I tried something new. I think it works MUCH better. This, I like. This will work.

I voted for Jane Austen, but I do like the Old Newspaper very much! I don't think it needs enlarging. And I like how it matches the worn paper look of the background. Somehow I can't imagine Jane Austen would have had a stain on any paper she used.

Like PostMuse, I voted for Jane Austen. I thought, for everyday correspondence, the use of a handwriting font made sense. But I agree, the Old Newspaper font looks fine!

As much as I love Jane Austen novels, I actually voted for American Typewriter. Maybe you should post each for 2-3 days so everyone can see how they look in the banner and have new voting.

I'm actually surprised that people like the Old Newspaper font. It looks too pixelated at the 50 pt size, for me. I'm going to think about this over the weekend.

Thought I'd chime in. Voted for Newspaper but I agree with ZuZu.The font looks very different when it's blown up and maybe a rotation of all of them might help. Thanks for all your work James!
